Here is a tribute to my favorite rock band, HIM. The drawing is called "Heartagirl" because the tattoo the girl has below the waist is called an "heartagram". That shape (a mix between an heart and a pentagram) is also the symbol of the band.

I must admit that I didn't know in what section putting that picture : one half of the drawing is made with traditional means (pencils, gouache, pastels) and the other half is made with Photoshop CS (The background and the pair of jeans). It took me like 5mn to know if my Heartagirl was going to be in the "Traditional Art" section or in the "Digital Art" one... I finally chose "Digital Art" because, after all, I used my computer a lot for enhencing the colors, the lights...

Un petit hommage à l'un de mes groupes préférés, HIM. Le dessin s'appelle "Heartagirl" car le tatouage que porte la fille s'appelle un Heartagramme. C'est aussi le symbole du groupe.

Il m'a fallu un petit bout de temps pour savoir si j'allais poster ce dessin dans la section "Art traditionnel" ou "Art Digital". C'est vraiment 50/50...J'ai finalement opté pour la section "Art Digital" vu que Photoshop CS a pas mal contribué aux finitions...
